Bangladesh, Aug. 8 -- Scholarship examinations for Ebtedayee-level students at madrasas are set to return nearly 17 years after they were last held.
The last time fifth-grade Ebtedayee students sat for the scholarship exams under the Directorate of Primary Education was in 2008.
This year, the tests will take place at the end of December, said Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, controller of examinations at the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.
"We are aiming to hold it between the 21st and 28th of December," he told bdnews24.com, adding that Upazila education officers have already been informed.
