Dhaka, April 20 -- The e-bail bond system will serve as a milestone in ensuring access to justice, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman says.

"We don't just want technological advancement, but also want a change in mindset," he said while inaugurating the e-bail bond system at the Bogura District Court. "We want to build a Bangladesh where there is no difference in the justice system between the prime minister or a minister, a police officer or an official, and an ordinary citizen. The judiciary must be completely independent and a firm foundation for establishing justice."
