Dhaka, May 17 -- The Dubai Taxi Company is interested in recruiting another 6,000 drivers from Bangladesh this year.

The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment said that interviews for interested candidates will kick off on Monday.

A delegation from Dubai Taxi met with Expatriates' Welfare Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury at his office on Sunday, where they expressed their interest in hiring more workers.

A press statement from the ministry said the minister thanked the delegation from Dubai and expressed gratitude for recruiting skilled drivers from Bangladesh.
