Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- The Dhaka University metro rail station is going to remain closed for two hours to avoid inconvenience to passengers during the prime minister's visit to the book fair.
Metro Rail Public Relations Officer Ahsan Ullah Sharifi confirmed the matter in a statement on Thursday.
"Due to unavoidable reasons, metro trains will not stop at Dhaka University station from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Feb 26," it read.
The authorities apologised for the temporary inconvenience.
A metro rail official told bdnews24.com that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to arrive at Bangla Academy around 2pm.
