Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- The government has reshuffled 31 police positions, including deputy inspectors general (DIG), additional DIGs and superintendent of police (SP) posts.

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the reshuffle in three separate notifications on Tuesday.

Habibur Rahman Khan, DIG of the Highway Police, has been promoted and appointed commandant of the Traffic and Driving School as a supernumerary officer. Sylhet Metropolitan Police DIG Mohammad Enamul Haque, who was promoted as a supernumerary officer, has been transferred to the Special Training Centre of APBn in Khagrachhari, while Paritosh Ghosh, who was serving in that post, has been transferred to the DIG APBn (Hill Districts) office.
