Dhaka, April 3 -- Another round of negotiations between the government and a Japanese delegation has failed to break the deadlock over the operation and maintenance of Shahjalal International Airport's third terminal.

Despite expectations of a breakthrough, the second day of talks on Friday ended without a signed agreement.

Following the meeting, the government instructed the Japanese representatives for a deeper revision of their proposal to incorporate specific concerns raised by the Bangladeshi side.
