Dhaka, June 24 -- Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) has laid the foundation stone of its permanent campus at Green Model Town in Dhaka's Manda, marking a new phase in the institution's expansion and academic development.

The foundation stone was laid on Saturday by Prof ASM Amanullah, vice-chancellor of National University, Bangladesh, who attended the ceremony as chief guest.

The event was presided over by Md Sabur Khan, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Daffodil Group, DIIT said in a statement.
