Dhaka, Oct. 25 -- The Communist Party of Bangladesh has called for the immediate reconstitution of the interim government into a "fully non-partisan form", urging the resignation of all "party-affiliated" figures holding positions in it.
At a meeting of its central committee on Saturday, the party said the move was "essential" to ensure a free, and fair national election.
The CPB also announced that it and the left alliance, comprising leftist, democratic, and progressive parties, organisations, and individuals, will contest all 300 seats in the parliamentary polls.
The party added that it will carry out organisational work and robust political activity to achieve this goal.
