Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- The bail previously granted to Sajjad Hossain, alias Chhoto Sajjad, a notorious in Chattogram, in seven cases has been suspended.

The chamber judges' court issues the order, Deputy Attorney General Mohammad Aanik Rushad Haque confirmed to bdnews24.com on Wednesday night.

He said the court order followed a petition by the state, suspending the bail that Sajjad and his wife Tamanna, identified by a single name, had obtained.

Previously, Sajjad had secured bail in seven cases from the High Court, while Tamanna received bail in four cases.

Last week, the bail papers for four cases reached Chattogram Central Jail, followed by papers for three more cases a day later. The information only became publicly known on Wednesday....
