Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- Parag Jain, the chief of India's foreign intelligence agency the Research & Analysis Wing (RAW), has arrived in Dhaka on an official visit amid efforts to normalise relations between the two countries.

A government source told bdnews24.com that Jain is leading a four-member high-level delegation on this visit at the invitation of their Bangladeshi counterparts.

However, no country has officially released any information about the visit of the Indian delegation.

Jain, in addition to serving as the secretary of RAW and the special secretary of the Special Protection Group (SPG), is also leading the delegation in Dhaka.
