Dhaka, Feb. 21 -- Bangladesh coach Javier Cabrera remains hopeful that Hamza Choudhury will return in time for the AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Singapore, despite lingering concerns over the Leicester City midfielder's knee injury.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) Iftar event, the Spanish coach said he had been in regular contact with both Hamza and Leicester City's medical team.

Cabrera said the coaching staff are positive and hopes his recovery will go "very well".

Bangladesh will take on Singapore on Mar 31 in the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers.
