Bangladesh, Aug. 26 -- A bus driver has been killed after being sandwiched between two buses in Jashore.

The victim's family said the incident occurred at the Bagachra bus stand in Sharsha Upazila around 9pm on Monday.

The deceased, 55-year-old Hafizur Rahman, was from the Upazila's Samta village.

The victim's father Mujibur Rahman said Hafizur was returning home after parking his bus in Satkhira. He was changing buses at the bus stand and was about to board the previous one when he got caught between the two buses and sustained a head injury.

He was later taken to Jashore Sadar Hospital, where he died.
