Dhaka, May 4 -- The body of Zamil Ahamed Limon, the Bangladeshi national who was killed while studying in the US, has returned home.

Emirates Airlines Flight EK582 landed in Dhaka at 8:59am on Monday as Limon's family and friends gathered at the airport's cargo gate.

Limon's uncle, Mortuza Sheikh Jashim, had come to collect the body alongside other members of the family.

He told the media that the body would be taken to the family's ancestral home in Jamalpur's Madarganj Upazila.

"Funeral prayers will be held after Maghrib, followed by the burial," he said.

Jashim said the family wanted justice from the US and Bangladeshi governments for the murder.
