Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- Sayeed Al Noman, son of Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Abdullah Al Noman, who passed away in February, has secured the BNP nomination to run in the general election from the Chattogram-10 constituency.
Senior BNP leader Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, who was initially nominated for the seat, has now been shifted to stand in the election scheduled for Febr 12 next year from the Chattogram-11 constituency, which includes Bandar and Patenga.
BNP chairperson's Advisor Aslam Chowdhury has received the party's nomination for the Chattogram-4 seat. BNP leader Kazi Salahuddin had earlier been nominated for that constituency.
BNP's Central Organising Secretary Mahbuber Rahman Shamim confirmed the development on Saturday.
