Dhaka, Oct. 23 -- A BNP delegation is meeting with Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin ahead of the 13th national parliamentary elections.

The meeting began at 11:45am on Thursday at the Nirbachan Bhaban.

The delegation is led by BNP National Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan and also includes BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council Member Ismail Zabiullah, and former EC additional secretary Mohammad Zakaria. The three are also members of the BNP's committee on the Election Commission.

EC officials say that a number of issues, including the recruitment panel for the election-related boards may be discussed at the meeting.
