Dhaka, Feb. 7 -- Tarique Rahman is set to hold rallies across 14 constituencies in Dhaka over two days.

This follows a whirlwind nationwide campaign by the BNP chairman for the Sheaf of Paddy symbol before the parliamentary elections.

The party's Central Election Steering Committee spokesperson Mahdi Amin confirmed the schedule on Saturday during a briefing at the BNP's party office in Gulshan.

Speaking at the media briefing, he said: "He [Tarique Rahman] will address rallies in six constituencies in the north on Sunday.

"The following day, he will attend election rallies in seven constituencies in Dhaka south, as well as in his own electoral seat."
