Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- BNP chief Tarique Rahman has cast his ballot in the 13th parliamentary elections.
He voted at a booth on the second floor of the Gulshan Model High School and College centre at 9:45am on Thursday.
He was the first voter to cast his ballot at the Gulshan polling centre. In 2001, he was a voter at the Adamjee School and College centre in the Dhaka Cantonment area.
The chairman is running under the paddy sheaf symbol in Dhaka-17 and is also contesting in the Bogura-6 seat.
Tarique's chief election agent Abdus Salam and Farhad Halim Doner were present to welcome the BNP chairman at the polling station.
