Dhaka, March 5 -- The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) has suspended 10 doctors' registrations.

The disciplinary action follows allegations of medical negligence leading to the deaths of four patients and causing financial loss to another through a faulty diagnostic report.

Following investigations into complaints received over time, the regulatory body for medical practitioners said the allegations were proven.

Details of the measures taken against the practitioners were released in separate notices on Sunday.

According to the notification, the doctors who face the suspension are Ishtiaq Azad, Mahbub Morshed and SM Muktadir of JS Diagnostic and Medical Checkup Centre in Dhaka's Malibagh; Tasnuva Mahjabeen and Syed Sabbir ...
