Dhaka, Sept. 24 -- A supplementary agreement has been signed between state-owned flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines and US aircraft manufacturer Boeing to buy 11 more aircraft.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York on Wednesday, according to a Biman media statement.

Biman Chairman Rumee A Hossain and Boeing Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing Brad McMullen signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
