Dhaka, Feb. 9 -- Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul has requested Pakistan to play the group stage match against India in the T20 World Cup.

The board chief also said Bangladesh's "brotherhood" with Pakistan will be "strengthened".

The announcement was made in a media statement on Monday, following Aminul's attendance at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) meeting in Lahore.
