Bangladeshi expat brothers died from carbon monoxide poisoning, confirms Oman police
Dhaka, May 15 -- The cause of death for four Bangladeshi expatriate brothers found dead inside a car in Oman has been confirmed after post-mortems.
In a statement, the Royal Oman Police said the deaths were caused by carbon monoxide inhalation from the vehicle's exhaust while the car remained switched on, reports the Times of Oman.
Mohammed Yaseen Chowdhury, president of the Chattogram Association in Oman, told local media that the victims were Bangladeshi nationals aged between 25 and 35 and belonged to the same family.
They were identified as Md Rashed, Md Shahed, Md Siraj, and Md Shahid.
According to Yaseen, one of the victims lived in Nizwa, another in Suwaiq, while the remaining two were residents of Muladah.
