Bangladesh, July 18 -- One person has died of dengue while 114 new patients have been hospitalised with the Aedes mosquito-borne disease across over the past 24 hours.
With this, the death tally from the mosquito-borne disease this year has climbed to 61, and the number of hospitalised patients has reached 16,395.
The Directorate General of Health Services said on Friday that the deceased was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the Dhaka South City Corporation.
In addition, 31 were hospitalised in the Dhaka Division, 29 in Dhaka city, 43 in Chattogram, 10 in Barishal, and one in Mymensingh.
