Bangladesh, July 4 -- Two more people have died with measles symptoms in the past 24 hours, while laboratory tests confirmed 101 new measles infections during the same period.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) daily measles bulletin on Saturday, 93 people have died from confirmed measles infection across Bangladewsh since Mar 15.

During the same period, 638 people have died with measles symptoms.

Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of deaths with measles symptoms at 274.

The other divisional figures are 88 in Rajshahi, 84 in Sylhet, 53 in Chattogram, 40 in Barishal, 62 in Mymensingh, 28 in Khulna and nine in Rangpur.
