Bangladesh, Sept. 16 -- Gas supply from two floating LNG terminals off Moheshkhali in Cox's Bazar has once again crossed 1,000 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) after recovering from a fire that disrupted supplies.

The increase has pushed the country's total gas supply to 2,624mmcfd.

According to data from the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla), supply of regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) derived from imported LNG reached 1,015mmcfd at 8pm on Tuesday, while domestic gas fields contributed 1,609mmcfd.

RLNG supply stood at 990mmcfd at midday, edging up to 991mmcfd by 4pm before crossing the 1,000 million mark.
