Bangladesh keeps diesel, petrol, octane and kerosene prices unchanged for July
Dhaka, June 30 -- The government has kept the prices of diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol unchanged for July, maintaining the rates set in June from July 1.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division under the power ministry conveyed the decision to the chairman of the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) in a letter on Tuesday.
The letter said the notification issued on May 31 fixed retail prices at Tk 115 per litre for diesel, Tk 135 for kerosene, Tk 145 for octane and Tk 140 for petrol.
"With the approval of the competent authority, these prices have been kept unchanged for July 2026. Accordingly, the latest approved rates will remain effective from Jul 1, 2026," the letter said.
