Dhaka, April 7 -- Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman has arrived in New Delhi, beginning a crucial visit aimed at "resetting" Bangladesh-India relations that had been strained during the tenure of the interim administration.

The foreign minister and his entourage were accorded a "warm" reception upon their arrival in the Indian capital on Tuesday afternoon.

B Shyam, head of the Bangladesh-Myanmar Division at India's external affairs ministry, and Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Riaz Hamidullah received them at the airport.

Khalilur is stopping in Delhi en route to Mauritius, where he is scheduled to attend the Indian Ocean Conference.
