Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- The government has urged Kuwaiti investors to invest in its Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and Hi-Tech parks.
The appeal was made during the first Bangladesh-Kuwait political dialogue held in Dhaka, according to a statement by the foreign ministry on Sunday.
Foreign Ministry Secretary Md Nazrul Islam and Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat led their respective delegations at the meeting.
The statement said both sides agreed to "expand cooperation in defence, training, disaster management, and cybersecurity".
They also prioritised energy, infrastructure, ICT, food security, and halal industries to boost trade and investment.
