Bangladesh, Malaysia explore trade, manpower recruitment avenues to deepen ties
Dhaka, June 22 -- Bangladesh and Malaysia have held a bilateral meeting to explore avenues for greater cooperation, with manpower export and trade and investment expansion topping the agenda.
The talks took place on Monday morning at the Perdana Putra -- the imposing office of the Malaysian prime minister in Putrajaya, the planned federal administrative capital just outside Kuala Lumpur, Bangladeshi Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said.
Sumon Mahmud, bdnews24.com's special correspondent travelling with the premier, said Tarique Rahman and his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim led their respective delegations at the meeting.
