Bangladesh, July 4 -- The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the business environment for US investors in Bangladesh.

The commitment was highlighted at a commemorative event jointly organised by AmCham and the US Embassy in Dhaka on Saturday to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence, the chamber said in a media statement.

According to the statement, AmCham President Syed Mohammad Kamal emphasised the potential for expanding bilateral trade and investment between Bangladesh and the United States.

He also reiterated the chamber's commitment to further improving the business climate for US investors.
