Dhaka, June 5 -- After several days of sweltering heat, some parts of the country, including Dhaka, saw some rainfall on Friday.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts this rain may continue for the next three days.

Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik told bdnews24.com on Friday night, "For the next three days, we will see some amount of rainfall in all divisions across the country, similar to what we saw today."

The BMD's regular bulletin on Friday evening said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning may occur at a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet Divisions in the 24 hours from 6pm....
