Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- All undergraduate and term examinations at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have been postponed from Aug 30 to Sept 18.

The emergency notice published on the institution's website on Wednesday said, "A decision regarding the undergraduate level exams will be taken later through discussions in the Academic Council."

The notification was signed by BUET Registrar (Additional Charge) Prof NM Golam Zakaria.

The announcement came as BUET students, joined by peers from other engineering institutions, continued demonstrations in Dhaka.
