Dhaka, April 16 -- The recruitment examination for leadership positions in private educational institutions is set to go ahead on Saturday, after a last-minute legal impasse was cleared by the Appellate Division.
Around 53,000 candidates are expected to sit the test, organised by the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), marking the first time that recruitment for heads and assistant heads of institutions is being conducted through the body.
The MCQ-based written examination will be held across nine centres in Dhaka, with all logistical preparations already completed, said Lutfor Rahman, assistant director of the NTRCA's Law and Coordination branch, on Thursday.
