Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- Four more people died with measles symptoms across Bangladesh over the past 24 hours, while 88 new measles cases were confirmed.

In its Sunday bulletin, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said two people died in Dhaka Division and one each in Chattogram and Mymensingh between 8am Saturday and the following 24 hours.

The health directorate has been publishing measles data since Mar 15.

Official figures show 101 people have died from measles and 956 with measles symptoms, taking the toll to 1,057 in nearly six months.
