Dhaka, March 7 -- Four people have been killed in two separate road accidents in Dhaka on Friday night.

The driver of a CNG autorickshaw and his passenger were killed when a truck rammed their vehicle in the Tejgaon Industrial Area.

Around the same time, a man and a girl were killed when a truck rammed their motorcycle in Dhaka's Science Laboratory area. Police identified the two as father and daughter, but had yet to confirm their names.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital's Emergency Department around 11pm, where the doctor on duty declared them dead.

The four bodies have been kept in the morgue at the emergency department, said Inspector Md Faruk of the DMCH Police Outpost.
