Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- Chattogram District Police say they detained 354 youths from different Upazilas during a special drive against juvenile crime.

Another 91 people were detained over allegations involving drugs and other offences during the operation.

A total of 445 people were detained in the drive conducted across 17 Thanas in 15 Upazilas of Chattogram on Sunday night, Additional Superintendent of Police Rasel told bdnews24.com.

He said the operation was carried out from Sunday evening until late at night as part of a special police drive to prevent juvenile crime and keep youths away from criminal activity.
