Dhaka, May 20 -- The government has taken an initiative to provide nutritious meals for students in government primary schools. To ensure the quality of these meals, at least three mothers will be included in the monitoring committee of every school, said State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj.

He made the remarks as the chief guest at the "Nil Komol Award" ceremony organised by Bangladesh Girl Guides Association at the Guide Auditorium on Bailey Road in Dhaka.

Highlighting the initiative to provide nutritious food for students, the state minister said: "The government is arranging for nutritious meals to be provided in every school."
