Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- Three crude bombs have exploded in front of a house, in front of a school, and on the side of a road in Gaibandha's Sundarganj Upazila.

Although the loud noise stirred panic in the area, no casualties or major damage were reported.

The explosions occurred in the span of four to five minutes at the Upazila Sadar's Gopalcharan around 4:30am on Sunday, said Sundarganj Police Station chief Shahin Mohammad Amanullah.

Police said the first explosion occurred near the house of Abu Solaiman Sarkar Saja, assistant professor at Sundarganj DW Government College. Two minutes later, an explosion occurred in front of Gopalcharan High School, and the third afterwards on the road south of the school.
