Dhaka, Sept. 27 -- The court has sent 27 people to prison after they were arrested during a police raid on JaSad, or the National Socialist Party's headquarters in Gulistan, with their bail hearing set for Monday.

The 27 were arrested under Section 54 of the Code of Criminal Procedure after police raided the party's Gulistan office on Saturday, bdnews24.com reported.

Police initially detained around 300 people during the operation. After verification, 27 were arrested and sent to court, while the others were released.
