Dhaka, April 22 -- The government has transferred 24 high-ranking police officers, including an additional inspector general, as part of a major shake-up.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate orders on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive day of administrative changes in the police force.
According to the first order, 11 officials - including one additional IGP, four DIGs, three additional DIGs, and three Superintendents of Police (SPs) - have been reassigned to new roles.
The second order detailed the transfer of nine officials, comprising three DIGs and six SPs.
A third notification confirmed the reshuffling of four more SP-rank officers.
