Dhaka, Sept. 25 -- A new "Sesame Street" film is in production at Netflix, bringing Elmo, Cookie Monster and their friends to another big-screen adventure.

The streaming platform announced on Thursday that it was making the film with production company Rideback and Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organisation behind "Sesame Street".

Netflix has not yet revealed a title, release date or plot for the movie.

The project forms part of a wider expansion of "Sesame Street" on the platform, with Netflix and Sesame Workshop extending their agreement for new seasons of the television show through Season 62.
