'No parent should suffer such loss': Father's plea for justice marks start of Ramisa trial
Dhaka, June 2 -- Arriving at the court to testify, Abdul Hannan Molla, father of child Ramisa, who was raped and killed in Pallabi has sought justice.
He demanded the highest punishment for the two suspects Sohel Rana and his wife Swapna Khatun on Monday.
He said, "No parent should have to go through such pain by losing their child."
He spoke to the media on Tuesday at the Dhaka Metropolitan Child Violence Suppression Tribunal of Judge Masrur Salekin.
Hannan said, "I seek justice from the court for the gruesome killing and rape of my innocent child. I seek that trial to be carried out quickly."
