Dhaka, Sept. 19 -- Two men have robbed a rickshaw passenger at knifepoint in Chattogram's Patharghata, with footage of the incident doing the rounds on social media.

The video shows one of the robbers cutting open the passenger's trouser pocket with a knife and taking something from inside.

The robbery took place on Satish Babu Lane, a short distance from Kotwali Police Station, although it was not immediately clear when.

The footage began circulating on Saturday morning.

Chattogram Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner (Kotwali) Khairul Bashar said police were working to arrest those involved.
