United Kingdom, June 22 -- Windscribe VPN founder Yegor Sak has warned people about the dangers of their favourite Facebook quizzes.

The boss of the hugely popular VPN provider has pointed out how seemingly harmless social media quizzes - the kind that lets you find out which 90s girl band or Hollywood actor you're most like - could be a phishing scam ready to steal your bank details.

As reported by TechRadar, Sak said: "If a stranger walked up to you on the street and asked for your mother's maiden name, your first pet, and the street you grew up on, you'd walk away.

"Wrap those same questions inside a 'Which 90s sitcom character are you?' quiz, and people happily type the answers into a database owned by someone they'll never meet."...
