United Kingdom, July 27 -- Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched a new workplace messaging platform designed to compete with Slack by making artificial intelligence agents a central part of everyday collaboration.

Called Buzz, the app has been developed by Block, the fintech company founded by Dorsey, and offers familiar workplace tools including channels, discussion threads and direct messaging. It also supports voice communication, media sharing and code repositories.
