United Kingdom, Nov. 15 -- OnePlus has delayed the U.S. launch of its new flagship OnePlus 15, citing regulatory backlogs caused by the recently concluded federal government shutdown.
In a statement, the company said FCC certifications had been held up during the shutdown, forcing OnePlus to postpone U.S. sales of its new flagship Android phone until approvals are complete.
The company said in a statement: "As a result of the government shutdown, device certifications have been delayed.
"Subsequently, U.S. sales for the OnePlus 15 will be postponed until they have been secured.
"We are hopeful that approvals can be generated quickly."
