United Kingdom, Oct. 26 -- Jennifer Hale wants to return to the Mass Effect franchise.

The 53-year-old actress - who voiced the female version of Commander Shepard in BioWare's sci-fi RPG series - has been missing from the franchise since the release of 2012's Mass Effect 3, and Hale has now stressed she "would be there before they finish the sentence" if she was asked to return for a new game.

When IGN asked if she would be willing to voice another character besides Shepard in a new Mass Effect title, she said: "Anyone. I love that universe. I'm ready. Anytime."

Although BioWare has not officially brought on Hale for Mass Effect 5, she hopes fans will make enough noise to convince the studio to bring her back.
