United Kingdom, Dec. 19 -- Zooey Deschanel "socialises" and goes on vacation with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.

The New Girl star, 45, was married to Pechenik between 2015 and 2019 and they are parents to two children - Elsie, 10, and Charlie, eight, together and the actress has now revealed she's still close to her former partner and he's even part of a group chat with her TV star fiance Jonathan Scott.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she explained: "I don't hate anyone that I was with before. And you know, it's awesome because my kids' dad is a great dad, and I always wanna support him as a parent.

"We have a group chat - Jonathan and Jacob and I - and my kids thrive when they know that we all care for each other...
