United Kingdom, May 22 -- Yasmin Le Bon is "quite shocked" she's stayed married to Duran Duran star Simon Le Bon for such a long time.

The 62-year-old model wed the musician in 1985 when she was just 21 years old and they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas in December, now Yasmin has opened up about their relationship and revealed laughter has kept their love strong over the years.

She told The Times newspaper: "[I'm] quite shocked [we've been together for so long. I thought I'd have probably got rid of him by now."

Yasmin went on to reveal the couple's "shared sense of humour" has kept the marriage strong as well as their ability to be independent of each other.
