United Kingdom, May 15 -- Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid plans to attend Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding.

The 36-year-old sports star and Taylor announced their engagement last year, and Reid - who has coached Travis to multiple Super Bowl titles - hopes to attend the ceremony.

He told Kansas City sports radio's 96.5 The Fan: "I probably have [received an invite]. If I don't outgrow my tuxedo before then, I'm going."

The 68-year-old coach is "so happy" for the celebrity couple, and insisted the scale of the occasion matters less than what it represents.

He said: "When [it] really comes down to it, it doesn't matter how big the show is around them. They're in love and that's the most important thing."
