United Kingdom, Sept. 17 -- Tyler Perry has ruled out marriage.

The Why Did We Get Married? director has given a firm "nope" to getting hitched in the future, saying he wants to avoid divorce and the hefty costs that come with separation.

Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday (14.09.26), Tyler, 57, explained to the 45-year-old singer: "It's not the marriage that bothers me, it's the divorce.

"Everybody that I know that did well and went broke, it was because of a divorce. So I'm good just being free."

Even Jennifer's offer to sing at his wedding failed to change The Oval actor's mind.

He added: "What makes me think about marriage is, 'You're no good, heartbreaker. You're a liar. You're a cheat. I don't know why I let you do...
